Before we can start any repair in Apple’s system, each device, phone, computer, etc. Apple requires Find My to be turned off. Follow these steps.

You can also schedule service through Apple’s online support system. Follow Apple’s prompts for your device and service needs, and be sure to select Digital Dot as your service location before booking your appointment.

How to Turn Off Find My

    1. Open Settings

    2. Tap your name at the top

    3. Tap Find My

    4. Tap Find My iPhone or Find My iPad

    5. Turn off Find My

    6. Enter your Apple Account password to confirm

    Don’t have your device with you?

    You can also remove a device from Find My through iCloud.com/find. Sign in to your Apple Account, select the device, and choose the option to remove it from your account.

    1. Click the Apple menu  and open System Settings

    2. Click your name

    3. Select iCloud

    4. Click See All next to Saved to iCloud

    5. Select Find My Mac

    6. Click Turn Off and follow the prompts

    You can also remove a device from Find My through iCloud.com/find. Sign in to your Apple Account, select the device, and choose the option to remove it from your account.

  • Apple Watch is connected to Find My through Activation Lock. The easiest way to remove it is to unpair it from your iPhone:

    1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone

    2. Tap All Watches

    3. Tap the ⓘ next to your watch

    4. Tap Unpair Apple Watch

    5. Enter your Apple Account password when prompted

  • For AirPods and supported Beats products:

    1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad

    2. Tap Devices

    3. Select your AirPods or Beats

    4. Scroll down and tap Remove This Device

    5. Confirm the removal
